​    The doorplates on these ships were collected in the shantytown of Changde, Hunan, which is about to be demolished and reconstructed. Initially, this area originated because of fishing and then was famous for it. In the usual sense, the doorplate has the function of marking space in modern cities, and it participates in the establishment and enrichment of people's understanding of space and location.
